I am planning to buy another one to have both the lamp on two sides of the bed. That would be a nice room decoration. There is a brightness controller. Attached picture shows 3 different brightness intensity at the same room darkness. Great Lamp, New Dimmer Works Well ***** My salt lamp has been a great addition to my bedroom. I leave it on at night so it emits a soft glow that makes it easy for me to get up and go to the bathroom at 3am without falling over something, haha. When I received my lamp in the mail, a few large chunks had sadly broken off during shipment but I used gorilla glue to put it back together and it’s almost like new now. The thin cracks give it character, right? Right?? I did buy this with caution because I saw many reviews stating that the dimmers would melt or catch on fire, but the listing states that they started using a new one so I went for it. I’ve had my lamp for almost 2 months now and I’ve never had any problems with their new dimmer. I’ve had my lamp on, at most, for 2 days at a time and nothing has ever happened. This is a great lamp, but if I had any suggestions it would be that they use more protection during shipment such as bubble wrap and peanuts.
